In the 1930s, young Betty Broder was a struggling woman just trying to make shit happen in Brooklyn. She had worked since she came out of middle school. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Poland and Austria. They got married in December 1935 but it wasn't until 1939 after they struggled their way through that they saved enough money together to open a business. A month after opening this beautiful fish market, Betty found herself pregnant. Who do you think was in that womb? It was Rosalind Falco.
