i moved to new york to play jaz which is what i had been doing. And i wrote come away with me that night. It was really fast, and i wrote it down. I didn't have a voice for quarter,. cause i wasn't a serious song writer yet. The only other songs i have were, what am i to you? There were a couple like throw ways that we tried but just made me cringe. So, yes, that was the beginning of my song writing, and it just barely eked it on the record. But im i always liked it."
