Hitchcock Movies - Strangers on a Train
I normally don't like the third acts of his movies, but some do. Strangers on a train has a magnificent third act. I think he was held back by the times that he worked. He could use the Hays code against their own selves from time to time. One of my actually favorite Hitchcock endings seems to be a compromise forced on him,. But then he subverts the compromise.
