How to Answer Questions When You Don't Know

As a parent it can be hard to answer questions when you literally don't know. I've run into both situations where like I can tell that a kid's asking question the parent might not know and in those moments I'm confident enough in myself and my knowledge that I'll kind of step in and explain things. So I think it's a combination of just being willing to do that if that's the type of person that you are. But as a parent also being able to say like I don't know maybe we can ask them or maybe we can you know look it up when we get home, is another option.
