Is There Progress?

Between 19 sixty five and nineteen seventy eight, we made tremendous progress in this country. Rates of graduation from high school, college, our wages, employment levels for blacks in America were at all times highs. But something happened. In many facets of american life, whites saw the progress of blacks as a threat. And so one of the things that immediately came under attack was affirmative action,.
