Trujillo built a rigid schedule for himself, one that assured he was awake every day at 5 a.m. and followed the exact same route every day in his routine. After his early evening walk, he often had a driver take him around in a small car through the streets of the Capitol,. always without escort, usually without bodyguards. This would eventually be the death of him, but for a while it works pretty well.
