How to Tell Dave to Move Up

So you're sitting on the sofa with Dave and Steve. You've got no elbow room so how do you tell Dave to move up? B-U-D-G-E up, budge up a bit, budges up means moving in that direction. What about if you sit on a train seat? Oh, that's a difficult one actually. So excuse me. Would you mind moving up a little bit,. for example? That's a tough one to do though.
