Genesis 3.15 in a Messianic Mode

Moses believed in Christ, so why wouldn't he have understood Genesis 3.15 at some level as a messianic text? And that's the fourth view. Some more historically Christian view I think is that somehow, someway, Genesis 15 is actually promising in the language of Jim Hamilton from 7 seminary. One contemporary author says it ultimately predicts the coming of a future individual who will have victory over the serpent through his own death.
