The IMF, Is There a Temporary Government Program?
In the 70s and 80s, decision makers at these institutions knew that the only way they could sustain this was with more debt. Once you succeed in reaching that mandate, it's like, oh, we should keep doing this. This is the case in Nigeria right now as a country is going to pay back debt. And the people didn't agree to borrow these loans as the point. The credit being destroyed is what I mean by a bubble unwinding.
