The Impact of the War on Children and Young People
The legacy of the United States in Iraq and Afghanistan are the impacts on the health and the environment situation. The use of chemical weapons has generated loss of birth defects around Fallujah and other areas until this moment. Also, the issue of the permit to the use of the US Army to get rid of their waste, which are mostly chemical waste, has caused high rates of cancer - especially lung cancer. And these actions until now has not been under accountability or consequences or compensation of what they've done. We are all suffering daily.
