The Death of Lynette Williams

Suspect seen outside the flat was never possibly identified. An e-fit of the suspect was compiled, and in March 1988, Williams appeared on BBC television programme Crimewatch UK for information about this man. Another person of interest was Francine Cordell, the accused in the court case due to have taken place in February where Lynette was due to evidence. The discovery of the blood group found on Lynette's clothing wasn't a match, and this enabled the police to eliminate them both from their inquiries.
