How to Teach Your Dog Place

I always help my dogs when they ask me with very few exceptions. Anytime my dog is trying to make a choice and there's no long-term expectation of the dog behaving independently, then I help them out. If people are saying that sitting on place is enriching, they're just like they don't understand what enrichment means. Not moving because you're concerned about what might happen if you do can't possibly fall in the category of enrichment. Which doesn't mean you don't teach a dog place. There's a place for it.
