The director's cut implies more of at that elizabeth is dating frank yeae. The bathroom sequence, if they were played om back to back, i don't think either sequence would have as much impact,. They're talking about the very thing in which he's experiencing. That was the most painful thing that we had to cut for the theatrical release.
