He felt that he was going to be responsible for her death and so with the family support do a lot of reframing. He did not necessarily take action but to support the withdrawal of invasive interventions. It was clear at the end what our adjusted goals of care were, we needed to shift the energy towards comfort care rather than looking at how to honor and respect her dignity.
