The optic study looked at beta blockers alone amiote plus beta blockers or soda law for the prevention of icb shocks. People that got beta blockers alone 24% shock rate icb fire rate and people they got soda law and only a 10% fire rate. The combination of beta blockers plus amiote can be useful to prevent recurrence vt vfib events um and icd shocks which can be very painful, traumatic causes anxiety so we can use these drugs to also prevent icd shocks.
