Safe Standing at the Arsenal Stadium
The a s t surveyed its members few years ago now, and i think it was 92 % in favor. We have been pushing for this, and we were very active in the campaign with central government to get the rules changed. To cut the long story short, the change from ivan gazidis to vinivaneckam helped a lot there. The club are now setting up a working group to look at this. It's a little bit more difficult at arsenal than new uilds, because they've got the existing stadium and the rake. But i feel cautiously optimistic that in about 18 months time, we might be looking at some safe standing at arsenal.
