How Much Fluid Should You Drink?

There's debate among scientists as to whether you need to be pragmatic or regimented about fluid intake. If you're underhydrated, the actual loss of fluid volume in your blood may be contributing to gut problems. Some athletes who are sweating a lot can't keep up with their sweat rates if they try and force feed themselves large amounts of fluid. You generally kind of want to see how much weight are you losing because that is almost exclusively coming from fluid loss.
