What's the Chinese Perspective on the War?
I think it was important for China to be seen to be at least paying lip service to certainly being against separatism and terrorism fundamentalism. So I think that's important, given that China is very much has always been the driver really of the Shanghai cooperation organization. To see country like Russia appearing to lose strategically and appearing to have made a huge strategic error is, I think, very sobering for China. Is the Chinese military more like Russia's than it is like the United States military like is that is the comparison more is it closer to Russia's military in what sense.
