Are We Aware That We're Thinking?

If we can be aware of thoughts when they arise and see their empty nature, the thoughts themselves are not a problem. If you're practising to prevent thinking, that is a set up for struggle because thoughts are going to come uninvited. Rather, can we practise and refine our awareness so that we become increasingly aware that we're thinking, then it's no problem at all. You know, we're all a package of different qualities, and we're all different packages, and we have different kinds of thoughts that have been conditioned. And so for some it may be self judgment. For some it may being fantasy or desire or whatever. No, a lot of aversion.
