Willy Fisher - The Man Who Makes Has Comrades

The Soviet histories of Willy Fisher, the man who they know continue to call Abel, or Hubble, is that he learned it all as a school boy in Moscow and as a radio operator in the Red Army. This is not true. His interest in radio begins as a boy in Whitley Bay on the Northumberland coast. The ship-to-shore radio mast was just a few hundred yards from the Fisher homes. It was natural that he would get into radio work when he joined the Army because radio technology was developing.
