The Destroying Tendencies of the Anglican Church

I agree with everything you said about friendship and community. And also, man, some of this has to be about God. When we were in London, we attended a Holy Eucharist at Westminster just like the Vatican of Anglicans. I'm not here to defend even the Anglican church for the last thousand years. It started with burning people. So not a great history all those thousand years, but it's a very human history. There is a need there somewhere that humans have to connect with each other to connect with something bigger than themselves. But it is something that you can see when it's present and when it's lacking.
