Why Circuit Judges Should Care About This Case, Part A
The structure of this case should be followed by circuit judges throughout the country. It shows a level of intellectual honesty and consistency. A judicial philosophy doesn't mean anything if you can't point to cases where you don't get your preferred outcome. If you knowingly put an innocent man behind bars, it means you also are knowingly keeping a murderer not just out there, but that nobody is looking for that person.
