Are We Out of the Pandemic Phase?

We are certainly right now in this country out of the pandemic phase, namely we don't have 900,000 new infections a day. And I like to think of these pandemics as having three phases. So for those two reasons, eventually the pandemic becomes endemic and then plateaus. The intermediate phase is when we clean up the mess, the clinical, social, psychological and economic aftershocks of the virus. Five times as many people as die of the Pandemic will be chronically ill from this.
