"I don't believe in ramming it in the hole. When you hit a putt faster and especially when people say like, oh, speed doesn't matter on short putts, it does because the faster the ball is traveling around the hole," he says. "If you try and take the break out of the putt by hitting it harder, the one also important variable in putting is face control."
