Canaas Voters Refused to Allow Abortion

In kansas, a state that donald trump won by nearly 15 points in 20 20, voters overwhelmingly rejected a constitutional amendment that would have allowed the state legislature to ban abortion. Anti abortion activists targeted t Tuesday as primary because it was mostly republican races and so they thought mostly republicans would turn out. Turnout was twice as large as it was in the 20 18 primaries.
