How to Use Speech, Action, Gesture, Motion, and Touch to Help Your Child Thrive

In many communities, there is less talking to kids. And in fact, more speech comes from siblings who are not thinking about the merits of communicating with younger infants and toddlers. So I certainly don't think it's appropriate to say, oh, be sure to always use speech, action, gesture, motion, and touch, because then your kid will thrive. It'll help them thrive in life. That is not the message at all.
