What Happened After Friday?
The Bank of England saw this and they thought, okay, we've got to do something because this market is becoming extremely dysfunctional. They bought up to 5 billion pounds of bonds, long duration bonds for the next 13 days. That's a total envelope of up to 65 billion pounds. And the reason we're doing it is to restore market functionality. So that was Monday. Okay. The guilt fell off continued. Those, these longer dated bonds continue to move higher and yields.
