The Importance of Rereading
The reread really is not so much a sense check, although that is part of it. It's more to just make sure that everything is sort of ticking the boxes I need to to connect the tissue with the book together. The chapter I wrote yesterday is and I've done it quite a few times in my books. You know, at the end of the day is I've taken a couple of hours away and now am I laying all the the groundwork I need to kind of connect all the dots later on in the book? So therefore, you need to give them little tiny, like Easter eggs to kind of keep them thinking and lay those breadcrumbs and stuff.
