Ida Minerva Tarbell

Ida minerva tarbell was born on november fifth 18 57 in hatch hollow, pennsylvania. Her parents had both trained as teachers and her father also worked as a carpenter and a welder. She would eventually have three younger siblings, although her brother franklin junior, died of scarlet fever when he was two. The tarbell's plans to move to iola didn't work out, though, thanks to the panic of 18 57.
