i think the more you understand things, the better you get transfers. Understanding is this process of kind of building hierarchies of information that go deeper and deeper into understanding. And so those tend to be the things that transfer better. i mean, there are some thingslike language learning, for instance, that i focus on performance over over understanding. But generally, if you're focusing on understanding, that's probably miyt lead to better transfer than ifyou're focusing on memorization.
