Is It Possible That AI Is Getting Worse With Google?

I am thinking Googling is less effective these days than it used to be. I feel like they've removed dates from posts. And I don't think for me that this sort of chat answers are going to make me feel like going to Google that much anymore. This would be a really good time for some new company to come in and start a new search engine or for DuckDuckGo.
