Towards a Philosophy of Searching in Machine Learning
"I think I was without a philosophy of searching my own life that would be aligned with this. And so while I was maybe excited, initially skeptical kind of the work that we did together to change that into an actual algorithm began to affect not only my perception of machine learning but also my perception of my own life," he says. "That led to this realization about the human condition and it goes very meta here because it seems that the program itself that you were doing demonstrated the philosophy."
