Al-Ashari and the Divine Command Theory

Al-Ashari devised his own rival theological theory, which rejected nearly every tenet of Moatazalism. His ideas were then further developed by generations of like-minded theologians. Al-Razali was a student of this Jawaini and would leave an indelible imprint on Asha'dite theology.
