The Role of Jotham in Kings
We do not know when Amaziah was killed, but the Bible clearly says it was in unpleasant circumstances. The easiest way out of the problem is to assume that the analysts overlapped Uzziah's allepris years with those of his son Jotham,. and grandson Ahez, the Hars. Other scholars have suggested that Uzziah and his father were co-kings for 25 years.
