A lot of times we can get caught up checking boxes and going through the motions that we forget what we're really called to do. It's not just about saying this set of prayers or this specific prayer every single day, it's about bringing good tidings to the afflicted. And my God, we are in a time where there's more people in those places than ever before. Just look at how many people are, are slaves to addictions. How many people are bound up by their pride, by anger, by unforgiveness. Our churches are supposed to be field hospitals for this.
