The Myths of Film
i do think it's impossible to remove all mythical elements out of history, because history is itself a mythologising discourse. In order for us to tell stories about the past that that last ind that created impact, we often produce polcloric narratives. But i will say thanks to or our student assistant, sunny jong eimer, for discovering that this was, as act, a myth. For yes, is very helpful. Becaue yey, were gin to be using this as an opening for thinking about the nature of film. And as with many of our episode titles, this topic is just extraordinarily broad.
