Multiple hops, multiple takeoffs and landings on the same leg is not normal. In triple jump you do it but in general that's not done. You have to look at multiple hops and say, ok, one i need to do multi hops. I think that does have value. But then i look at that and think, do i need to doing that for maximum distance? It gets a little bit dicier when you add the distance component. And i remember, i just went through this with a doctor a couple of weeks ago, who said, i need to hop test this girl.
