Gilbert Godfrey: I was the autistic director and we would do star vehicles. We did Mr. Roberts with James Drey, the Virginian. And then we did goodbye Charlie with Joanne Worley. He says that's literally the only time he worked with Don Naughts or Jazja in 40 carats. "She is, uh, you know, God love her," Gilbert said of his former stage manager.
