More than 100,000 customers in the southeastern U.S. are without power following damaging storms that have left residents searching for relief and sweltering temperatures. Dangerous triple digit temperatures are in the forecast today in Texas where electricity providers warrant outages for some customers may stretch late into the week. Intense weather is also producing gusty winds in the southwest that raise wildfire threats in Arizona and New Mexico.
