Lee Akshon's Journey to Surviving the War

Lee Akshon was raped by up to 50 Japanese soldiers a day when she was just 15 years old. She survived the war, lived in China where she met her husband and took care of his children. Lee encouraged 250 other women to finally talk about their experiences as sex slaves for Japanese soldiers during World War II. In 2007, the Japanese Supreme Court decided comfort women had no claim to monetize military services so their half-ass apology is pretty hollow.
