The US government murdered the top Iranian official, Qasem Soleimani, in January 2020. He was trying to negotiate peace talks between Iran and Saudi Arabia. That is the perfect symbol of the difference between the United States and China. The US wants more instability and violence and war, and China is trying to bring about peace and mutually beneficial cooperation. Its goal is not simply to maximize short-term profit and dividends for shareholders.
