ezra kline: polarization is simply the fact of something, opinions, party affiliation behavior, clustering around two poles. Kline: We almost never define what we are saying we are polarized over. You might be polarized on policy opinions, but not on party affiliation. you might be polarized in terms of voting behavior, but actually there's a lot of agreement on underlying policy views.
