The Different Motivations for High Impact Work
I'm not the kind of person who is very signed up to a specific view of maybe that only consequences matter and only well fair, increasing well fair matters. So I have a mix of these different things going on. What drew me to effective altruism in the early days was particularly the sense of being born into a really incredible amount of privilegeBeing from a middle class family in the UK feels like way more than I need but there are lots of other people in the world that don’t have those access to those opportunities that I do.
