A Train Collided With a Jeep

The train was travelling at 63mph when it collided with a jeep. It continued along for 250 yards to where the track split in two. The front part of the first passenger carriage exited and travelled along the side track, while its rear and the remaining carriages continued along the main line. Travelling in the opposite direction was another double decker passenger train. A freight train had been parked on the side track which contained construction materials used to repair a portion of the track damaged from a recent mud slide. Now split between both the main line and side track, the front passenger carriage of metro link 100 collided with the stationary freight train at about forty seven miles per hour.
