Does the Legislative System Really Work?

Is it an effective strategy for the entrepreneurs that turn themselves into legislators? Do they get what they want? Yes, that's a great question. I think if you do a very serious cost-benefit analysis, I'm not so confident that the benefits totally outweigh the cost. So, my book didn't really go into the details of all the different possible benefits.
