What's the Analog of Small Block Sizes in Science?
I'm just wondering what the analogy of safety and eyes on the street is in science. Maybe there's some analogy to be made to the process by which we keep scientific results reliable. The beauty of a truly powerful analogy too is that it can predict things that you hadn't considered yet. Once you observe something about one system, you realize, oh, maybe this is true about the other one as well.
