i read nicha's birth of tragedy while on vacation in mexico. i like the idea that there's a sense of recognition and resignation about tragedy. You have to ultimately just deal with the fact, you know what, some of us are smarter than others. There's this tidal wave of ignorance that's manifesting itself in politics and society. And it's exactly, i think, in a certain weird way, that nicha diagnosed the condition of this age.
