Zhenia in Homa
Zhenia roughly translated means hospitality but it's not very hospitality one is phrasing English. Cyclops polyhemus stands as he typifies everything that Zhenia is not in the Odyssey. He invites these men into his home which is his cave and he proceeds to eat them, doesn't sort of give them the hospitality which is expected. This is meant to be shown to strangers and I think certainly as I read these poems growing up I thought this is incredibly trusting of people.
