Mesopotamian Civilization Arose Along River Banks

Mesopotamia, or iroc, had many cities long before the israelites began thinking of themselves as a nation. Like the egyptian civilization along the nile to the west and the haripon civilization on the indis river to the east, mesopotamian civilization arose along river banks. These were areas that just begged you to plant something. You could be eating some dates and then drop some in that nice damp riverside soil, and then a few months later, up come some date palms.
