Qingkei's Sunning Railway
Qingkei's Sunning Railway was still growing as the 1920s dawned. He wanted to connect Taishan with the rest of China via the railway network. Obtaining financing was a constant source of stress for Qingkei. After Japan invaded China and worked their way southward towards Guangzhou, in 1938, the whole railroad was disassembled. The Japanese snatched it as soon as they took over Taishan.
